Michael Tidball



Michael Tidball has worked in both the private and government sectors, having previously worked as a ministerial advisor in the New South Wales Government and served as Chief Executive of The Law Society of New South Wales for the past 17 years. Since his appointment as CEO of The Law Society of New South Wales, Mr Tidball has overseen a range of reforms to the organisation, and this work has been undertaken at a time of strong growth in the legal services sector. In 2013 Mr Tidball was appointed to an additional role as Chief Executive of LAWASIA, a confederation of law associations across the Asia Pacific region which is committed to advancing the Rule of Law and pursuing the interests and concerns of the legal profession in the Asia Pacific region.

Matthew Hindson


Matthew Hindson has been an admirer and involved with The Song Company for at least 25 years. He has been commissioned by them, and his students have participated in education programs. Matthew is interested in ensuring that the excellence and vibrancy of this great Australian ensemble is appreciated by a wide range of music lovers across the country.

Louise Guy


Louise Guy, who currently works in finance for ANZ Global Markets, has almost two decades’ experience in the financial services industry, having been based in Singapore and Manila as well as Sydney. She has successfully led large-scale international projects and, for a number of years, has actively sought opportunities to mentor and coach others. Always keen to broaden her own skills and experience, she spent time in her late twenties cooking in Scotland and the French Alps before running her own, very popular café in Elizabeth Bay for six years, from which she has built up lifelong relationships with both staff and customers. Louise is community minded, passionate about the arts and social justice, and has felt privileged to volunteer for various not-for-profits in Australia, Sri Lanka and Singapore. She joined the board of The Song Company in November 2019.

Robert Bryden


With over 40 years of experience, and 32,374 cases to his name, Robert Bryden began practicing law, with a special interest in personal injury law, in 1984. To deliver that service to more Australians he founded Bryden Lawyers with his other partners in 1996. He sold his business in 2012 and today there is no longer a Bryden there. He relaunched in 2016 Robert Bryden Lawyers. Robert joined the Board of The Song Company in November 2019.

Elizabeth Grey


Elizabeth has had a long career in information technology, managing large finance system implementation projects for many of Australia’s top 100 companies. She has had a life-long love of classical music and has served in a number of not for profit organisations such as Board member of Orchestras Australia, Manager of The Beecroft Orchestra, Secretary of the Friends of the Sydney International Piano Competition, and in volunteer roles at Fine Music FM, the Australian Festival of Chamber Music and The Sydney Eisteddfod. She has applied her project management skills in delivering aid projects in emerging nations through Rotary International for over 20 years. Elizabeth joined the Board in September 2020.

Antony Pitts


Antony Pitts has led The Song Company artistically since 2016 to outstanding critical acclaim. In 2019 he put together a rescue package to enable the company to resume trading during a period of Voluntary Administration, and ultimately to be returned to the Directors – an outcome achieved by only one in fifty Australian companies in similar straits. He now sits on the Board of The Song Company.
