The Song Company 2024 Emerging Artist Program

The Song Company’s new Emerging Artist Program will build new professional pathways for emerging vocal talent through understudying, potential performance opportunities, and one-on-one skill development and mentoring with the artists of The Song Company.

The program has two areas of focus:

  • Emerging Artists: early career singers with demonstrated vocal training and experience in choral and/or ensemble singing

In 2024, the program's focus preparing the Emerging Artists as understudy's for The Song Company singers for each of the three main performance seasons.

The program launches with Superbloom in February 2024. 6 impressive young singers will join with The Song Company and Guest Director Jane Sheldon for two weeks of rehearsals and mentoring sessions.

  • Apprentices: classical voice students enrolled in university or equivalent courses or recent graduates with an interest in singing in vocal ensembles

An Apprentice week will take place in Sydney in July 2024.
