The Song Company - 2026 Season

The Song Company’s 2026 Season includes major collaborations with Bach Akademie Australia and the Australian Chamber Orchestra, continuing a long-standing commitment to partnership, excellence, and shared musical vision. The Song Company will also continue its tradition of welcoming world-class Guest Directors to work with the ensemble.

Bach Akademie Australia collaborates with Australia’s premier vocal ensemble The Song Company to present Bach’s seven surviving motets alongside two works of contemporary genius, Australian composer Sandra Milliken’s Herr Jesus Christus and O Radiant Dawn by James MacMillan.

Bach's Christmas Oratorio

In partnership with The Song Company, the ACO presents a blockbuster performance of Bach’s glorious oratorio, featuring exultant choral passages, a tenor soloist/narrator and magnificent orchestral forces. Bach canvases the joy and wonder of the nativity story as Mary contemplates motherhood, the angels appear in triumphant glory before the shepherds and wise men bow before a tiny babe.
