Esteemed British Choral Conductor, Eamonn Dougan joins The Song Company over one
festive weekend in May to rehearse and direct our 'CORONATION CHOIR'.
Renowned for his work with the world’s leading vocal groups including The Sixteen, I Fagiolini, and Britten Sinfonia Voices, Dougan brings a wealth of expertise to this exciting venture. We invite friends, audience members, supporters, choristers and anybody who likes to sing to join Eamonn and The Song Company as part of our large, massed voice CORONATION CHOIR.
Expertly directed by Eamonn Dougan, the CORONATION CHOIR will perform alongside The Song Company in an uplifting and celebratory program of Coronation gems of the English Baroque. These include Handel’s famous Zadok the Priest, a selection of Coronation Anthems and other music for royal occasions by Handel and Purcell.
