Biography
Adele Kozak is a Sydney born mezzo-soprano. In 2019, under the tutelage of Dr. Rowena Cowley, Adele completed her Master of Music Studies (Classical Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she obtained the Patricia Lucas Scholarship for Musical Achievement. Adele has been singing from the young age of nine when she joined Gondwana Choirs. Her passion for ensemble performance has taken her all around the world to places such as Asia, England, Wales, France, Canada and the Baltics. Additionally, Adele has performed with notable ensembles including the Choir of St James, Song Company, where she was a guest artist in Hark!, Luminescence Chamber Choir and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, where she undertook several performance and recording projects. Adele is currently employed with The Arts Unit, working with students in NSW Government schools. Additionally, she is completing her Masters of Teaching (Secondary), aspiring to be a teacher of music, German and history. Adele is a passionate chamber musician who has performed with many upcoming young artists in various projects and is excited to perform again with the Song Company.
