Biography
Cassandra Doyle is a mezzo-soprano reading for a Bachelor of Music (Performance) on merit scholarship at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Dr. Rowena Cowley. She has been a concert soloist at the Sydney Opera House for the NSW Arts Unit Festival of Music and a featured artist in the NSW Schools Spectacular. In 2019, Cassandra performed as a soloist with Sydney University Music Society for Rossini’s Petit Messe Solennelle. In 2021, she was a solo recitalist at St. James, King Street. Opera roles include Phoebus in Fairy Queen (Purcell) and Leila in Iolanthe (Sullivan). Chorus work includes Savītrī (Holst) and Orfeo ed Euridice (Gluck). 2022 sees Cassandra perform Louis in The Wandering Scholar by Holst and Count Gil in Il segretto di Susanna by Wolf-Ferrari with The Concordia Ensemble. She will also cover Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) with The Cooperative.
