Jack Percy retired from Accenture in February 2017 after a 33 year career with the company. In his last role he served as the Chairman and Managing Director responsible for Accenture’s business in Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. He also served on Accenture’s Global Leadership Council to which he was first appointed in 1998, providing input to the overall strategic direction of the company. Jack was appointed to the role of Chairman and Managing Director of Accenture Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) in May 2008. Under his leadership, Accenture’s ANZ business more than doubled to over AU$1.5bn, and was recognised globally as being amongst the top performing units in Accenture. He also drove the expansion from the original footprint in the four eastern capitals (Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane) to add offices in Perth, Adelaide, Auckland and Wellington. In May 2014, South Korea was added to his responsibilities, where there were offices in Seoul and Busan. Jack’s remit was to conduct a strategic assessment of the situation in South Korea, which resulted in the successful sale of Accenture’s entire business in South Korea to a local company. In 2014 he was awarded the HR CEO Champion of the Year by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Jack is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institute of Directors in New Zealand. He has also been a member of the Business Council of Australia and the International CEO Forum. In his role, Jack was Chairman of the boards of Accenture Australia Ltd, Accenture Australia Holdings Ltd, Accenture New Zealand Ltd and Accenture Korea Ltd. Jack holds a Masters degree in Mathematics and a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Mathematics, both from Trinity College, Cambridge. During his time at Trinity, he was a member of the Trinity College Chapel Choir. Jack is also a keen jazz saxophonist. He is currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree in Jazz Performance at the ANU School of Music.
